Join refuge rangers for a unique “behind the gates” experience with the Tamarac Sunset Kayak Cruise on Pine Lake. This special event, scheduled for 7 p.m., offers participants a guided one-hour paddle where they can learn about the history of Pine Lake, the surrounding pine forests, and the refuge’s fall transformation. Participants are encouraged to bring their kayak or canoe and are required to wear life jackets.
