Macaws for Paws:

The Lakes Area Parrot Heads will host their 11th Annual Macaws for Paws fundraiser benefiting the Marshmallow Animal Shelter from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at Zorbaz in Detroit Lakes. There will be live music, a silent auction, and drawings for 14 raffle prizes (tickets $10 each), with the grand prize being a seven-night, eight-day stay at Corazon Cabo Resort and Spa in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico (airfare and transportation not included; $4,000 retail value). Open to the public.
