The Minnesota Board of Medical Practice has taken disciplinary action against Dr. Arden Beachy, a physician associated with Family HealthCare in Fargo. On July 13, the board reprimanded Beachy’s Minnesota medical license for “engaging in any unethical or improper conduct.”
As part of the disciplinary action, Dr. Beachy is required to complete pre-approved coursework in professional boundaries within six months. He must also write and submit a paper discussing what he has learned from the coursework and how he plans to implement this knowledge in his practice. This paper is due within three months of completing the coursework. Additionally, Dr. Beachy has been ordered to pay a civil penalty of $10,000.
Efforts to obtain further information regarding the specifics of Dr. Beachy’s conduct are ongoing. As of Monday afternoon, Dr. Beachy is no longer listed on Family HealthCare’s roster of physicians.
