Important Road Closure and Parking Alerts for WE Fest 2024

WE Fest, the largest country music and camping festival in the U.S., is set to take place at Soo Pass Ranch in Detroit Lakes, MN, from July 31 to August 3. With headliners like Eric Church, Jelly Roll, Parker McCollum, and Elle King, it’s sure to be an unforgettable event. However, attendees should be aware of significant road closures and parking restrictions.

 

**Parking Restrictions:**

– No parking is allowed along Highway 59 in Detroit Lakes before noon on Monday, July 29. Vehicles arriving before this time will be subject to removal and penalties.

– After noon on Monday, vehicles parked along Highway 59 must be on the shoulder, and parking is at the owner’s risk. Setting up camps or using chairs and grills outside vehicles is prohibited.

– The Minnesota State Patrol and WE Fest Security will be patrolling the area to enforce these rules.

 

**Road Construction and Detours:**

– For those traveling from Interstate 94, there is road construction on Highway 59 in Pelican Rapids with some portions closed. It’s advised to use Highway 34 to Highway 59 to avoid traffic backups.

– Highway 34 is also under construction between Osage and Park Rapids, with a detour in place on Highway 71 and County Road 48.
