An early morning accident on US Highway 10 at Becker County Road 54 resulted in non-life-threatening injuries for one passenger. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the incident occurred at approximately 7:03 a.m. when a 1996 Chrysler Town & Country, traveling westbound, veered off the road and rolled into the ditch, coming to rest on its roof.
The driver, 48-year-old Cory Thomas Swift of Faribault, MN, was not injured in the crash. Swift was wearing a seatbelt, and there was no alcohol involved.
The passenger, 41-year-old Rosalynn Marie Sabot of Moorhead, MN, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Essentia Health for treatment. She was also wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
Responding to the scene were the Essentia Ambulance, Detroit Lakes Fire and Police Departments, Becker County Sheriff’s Office, and Frazee Police Department.
The road conditions were reported as dry at the time of the accident. The incident remains under investigation.
