Otter Tail County has announced that it is now accepting applications for its portion of the Opioid Settlement Funds. With an expected total of $3.1 million over 18 years, the first round will grant up to $400,000. Organizations can apply for up to $50,000 per year for two years to support projects aimed at fighting the opioid crisis.
Priority areas include Prevention (Primary Prevention and Community) and Treatment & Recovery (Recovery Supports and Treatment Expansion). Applications should detail specific project outcomes related to these goals and can include evidence-based or promising practices, especially those that are culturally specific.
The application deadline is August 30, 2024, with grants starting January 1, 2025.
