It’s Family Game Night
Local families are invited to the DL Public Library at 4pm for a night of Animal Races, KerPlunk, giant Jenga and more. This is free and open to the public.
DL Cruise Night
Tomorrow night, the 2nd Cruise DL Night of the season. Stop on down to West Lake Drive and peruse the over 320 classic, antique, and muscle cars. Visit with other classic car lovers and treat your family to a fun night of nostalgia. For more information check out the “Cruisedlnight” Facebook page.
City, county, and tribal maintenance workers in Minnesota have a new opportunity to advance their careers through the University of Minnesota’s “Roads Scholar” program. Director Andrew Wrucke says graduates can earn a certificate in maintenance operations or leadership management. The program offers no-cost or low-cost online and onsite classes.

Marshmallow Animal Shelter Fundraiser
The animal loving community help. We are trying to purchase our current building that houses the Patriot Assistance Dogs, and the local pound for Becker county and the lucky dog boarding and daycare. We need your help! In order to secure the loan we need to raise $100,000 by July 24th. If we don’t secure the funds we are at risk of loosing the building and where will these stray animals go? 8 year-old local Boy Raising Money for Marshmallow Shelter
Another wonderful way to support the work of the Marshmallow Foundation is buying a glass of lemonade this afternoon from 3:30-5pm. An 8 year old local boy is raising money by setting up shop downtown selling lemonade. Stop by Curry and Mian for a $1 glass of lemonade. Yesterday, in only 1 hour, he raised $44! Let’s support this local hero. When you stop to pick up your lemonade, let this yound man know he IS making a difference and you will help him support The Marshmallow Animal Shelter.
