On Thursday, 34-year-old Dilfa Munguia pleaded guilty to 1st Degree Sale of Drugs as part of a plea agreement. Munguia’s arrest in September 2023 came after a four-month investigation by the Fergus Falls Police Department. Court documents reveal that detectives conducted two days of surveillance, observing 25 vehicles coming and going from her residence.
On September 5th, 2023, police executed a search warrant at Munguia’s home. During the search, Munguia attempted to flush evidence down the toilet but was apprehended with water on the floor and her hands. Officers found 23.6 grams of methamphetamine, pay/owe sheets, $4,068 in cash, 16 oxycodone pills, suboxone strips, and drug paraphernalia.
Despite Munguia’s initial denials of selling narcotics, she has now pleaded guilty to one count of 1st Degree Sale of Drugs. Her sentencing hearing is scheduled for August 12th.
