The 50th annual “Back to the 50s Weekend” kicks off this Friday at the State Fairgrounds. Wally Burchill from the Minnesota Street Rod Association says they’re expecting over 11,000 custom cars, street rods, restorations, trucks, and rat rods—all from 1964 or earlier. The event runs Friday through Sunday and features 190 vendors, State Fair food, Kids World, live music, a visit from racing legend Richard Petty on Saturday, and a huge swap meet on Sunday. Adult tickets are $15, and kids 15 and under get in free. Discount tickets are available at Napa Auto Parts stores in Minnesota.
