A high-speed chase in Clay County ended with the arrest of a Fargo man on Friday. Around 1:25 PM, a Glyndon Police Officer attempted to stop a vehicle for reckless driving. The driver, 36-year-old Shaun Montanari, fled east on Highway 10 in a stolen teal Mercedes. Deputies clocked the vehicle at 95 MPH on Highway 9, accelerating to 120 MPH before turning onto I-94. A state trooper stopped the car with spike strips near mile marker 10. Montanari is now in Clay County Jail facing felony charges. A female passenger was not charged.
