Fergus Falls, MN – After 25 years, Jo McQuisten has sold Mabel Murphy’s to Matt Danner, Darren Krein, and Evan Burkdoll, with the deal finalized on May 30th. The new owners will take over on June 4th. Danner and Krein, experienced local business owners, and Burkdoll, who owns Union Pizza and Töast, plan to make gradual changes to the restaurant while engaging the staff in the process. They aim to maintain Mabel’s as a central hub in Fergus Falls, continuing the legacy McQuisten built. Established in 1977, Mabel Murphy’s has been a community staple under McQuisten’s ownership since 1999.
