MNN – A judge is deliberating whether to release body cam footage from the arrest of Woodbury Senator Nicole Mitchell earlier this year. Mitchell was allegedly involved in breaking into her stepmother’s home. The Upper Midwest Law Center, representing Alpha News, is suing the City of Detroit Lakes and its police department to obtain the footage. This comes as many Minnesota Republicans have called for Mitchell’s resignation, which did not happen before the legislative session ended this weekend.
