(FB post 5/15/24) – Beginning this fall students in the Lake Park/Audubon schools will NOT be allowed to have their cell phones during the school day. School Board Policy 524 states that students are prohibited from using their cell phones and other electronic communication devices during the instructional day. Students who drive will be encouraged to leave their cell phones in their vehicles. Those who bring them into the building will be required to turn them in. Those phones will be kept in a secured and locked location. Although administration suggests the best policy is to simply leave them at home. More information will come as the 2024-2025 school year gets closer.
