We are in the heart of tall grass prairie, northern hardwoods and conifer forests which are also homes for 275 species of birds. The 27th annual Festival of Birds is scheduled for today through Saturday. This year the Chamber of Commerce collaborated with the Gathering Partners Conference, which is hosted by U of M Extension and Natural Resource Volunteer Program and the Bell Museum.
