(DL Online) – When police caught up to 2 teens who had been accused of brandishing a gun at a woman the initially reluctant to follow officer commands. Force was used to restrain the 2 suspects. The confusion stemmed from a false accusation made by a woman and called in as a report of teens with a gun. Officers responded to a call at the McDonalds at 415 Highway 10 at about 3pm yesterday. Store video did not back up the report. It was determined then that the woman was an unreliable witness. The 2 teens had left the McDonalds when officers arrived. While it was noted that when officers respond to a gun call especially compliance is expected. There were no injuries and no arrests were made. The call is considered unfounded.
