Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a “crash detection” alert from a smart watch at 2:21 Sunday morning. Dispatchers could hear sounds of distress in the initial call. Deputies responded to rural Perham Township and found an ATV that had crashed with 2 adult victims. Each victim was transported from the scene with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Perham Police Department and Perham EMS assisted deputies. Alcohol was a factor and the investigation is ongoing.
