Starting Monday, May 13, weather permitting, motorists will encounter lane closures and delays on Highway 10 in both directions west of Perham, as crews begin construction of a J-turn at the intersection of Highway 10 and County Road 60, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. The project will be constructed in stages to minimize commuter impacts, and one lane of traffic in each direction on Highway 10 and County Road 60 will remain open throughout construction. The project is expected to be complete in July. Hough, Inc., based out of Detroit Lakes, Minn., is the prime contractor for the $1.1 million project.
