The Red River Valley invites the community to participate in a remembrance service, offering an opportunity to honor and remember your loved ones. Participants will have the chance to personally etch a glass candle, during the “Etched in Memory – A Remembrance Service” event. Following the service, attendees can take home their personalized candles as a lasting tribute. The event will take place on Wednesday, May 8, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at the Detroit Lakes Public Library, located at 1000 Washington Ave., Detroit Lakes, Minn. This event is open to all community members, regardless of age and participation is free.
