GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The Grand Forks Police Department is holding property for several individuals and is urging the rightful owners to claim it before May 24. If unclaimed by 4:30 p.m. on that date, the property will be considered abandoned and disposed of. In a social media post, the department emphasized that there are no strings attached and assured community members that they just want to return the items. They humorously added, “This is not a trick!!! We will not jump out from behind a plant and get you.” To claim the property or for any questions, individuals are encouraged to contact the Property and Evidence department at 701-787-8170 or 701-787-8023.
