It was another successful year, raising money as Leighton Media wrapped up day 2 of their annual St. Jude Radiothon on Friday, raising over $38,000. Thursday and Friday, the on air personalities were on the air, nonstop from 6am – 6pm, asking Lakes Area residents to become ‘Partners in Hope’ for just $19 per month. Numerous donations from all over the Lakes Area and as far as Cologne, MN, just southwest of Minneapolis/St. Paul, came in over the two-day Radiothon. BTD Manufacturing was a HUGE contributor again this year, bringing in a check for $16,605 on day two of the event. Others who stopped into the studios on Randolph Rd with monetary donations, included Al Clark Construction, Detroit Lakes Repair, Beachcombers and Arvig.
