MAHNOMEN, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Health has announced a public hearing on April 30 at 6:00 p.m. regarding Mahnomen Health Center’s transition to a rural emergency hospital. This change means the center will no longer offer inpatient services or swing beds. Despite these changes, Mahnomen Health Center will continue to provide outpatient and emergency services to the community. The public hearing, hosted by the Department of Health’s Health Regulation Division, aims to provide a forum for the community to discuss the transition and explore available alternatives for patients.

Community members interested in participating can join the hearing via Microsoft Teams using the event link “Mahnomen Health Center public hearing” or by calling 651-395-7448 and using the access code 898 653 172#.
