Leighton Media Wraps Up A Record Breaking St. Jude Radiothon

Leighton Media just put the wraps on our 14th annual St. Jude Radiothon, raising a record, $38,001 for the kids of St. Jude. For the past two days, the on air personalities have been on the air, non stop from 6am – 6pm, asking Lakes Area residents to become ‘Partners in Hope’ for just $19 per month. Numerous donations from all over the Lakes Area and as far as Cologne, just southwest of Minneapolis/St. Paul, came in over the two day Radiothon. BTD Manufacturing was a HUGE contributor again this year, bringing in a huge check for $16,605 on day two of the event. Others who stopped into the studios on Randolph Rd in Detroit Lakes with monetary donations, included Al Clark Construction, Detroit Lakes Repair, Beachcombers and Arvig.
