The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) and the Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office are seeking assistance from the public in locating a wanted fugitive, William Guy Amick III, 36, who is charged in Fillmore County District Court with 13 felony counts related to child sexual abuse material. The charges against Amick include using minors in sexual performance, soliciting a child to engage in sexual conduct, and possession of pornographic work involving a minor. These incidents involve multiple victims between the ages of newborn and 7 years old. Also known as “E,” Amick resided in Mabel and Rushford, Minn., for about two years until May 2023. His current whereabouts are unknown, and investigators believe he may or may not still be in Minnesota. Amick is described as a white male, 6′3″ tall, weighing 123 pounds, with dark brown hair and blue eyes.

Investigators have discovered that Amick often uses a false female identity when communicating with other men online to produce child sexual abuse material involving the men’s children. Authorities believe Amick receives financial support from individuals who may not be aware of his true identity or his criminal activities. Additionally, Amick is a fugitive from Pennsylvania in an unrelated case of a similar nature. BCA predatory crimes agents and Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office investigators are leading the investigation with significant support from the U.S. Marshals Service and the FBI. The investigation also aims to identify other individuals involved in creating the child sexual abuse material. One man has already been charged in the state of Washington in connection with this case.
