CASS COUNTY, Minn. – Authorities are investigating a fatal house fire that occurred in Byron Township, northwest of Motley, in northern Minnesota. The fire was reported on Tuesday morning, and crews discovered a man dead inside the home after extinguishing the flames. Two other individuals were hospitalized for smoke inhalation. The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is working to determine the cause of the fire, and an autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of the man’s death.
