ST. CLOUD, Minn. – A 17-year-old boy was seriously injured in a shooting at the Go For It Gas station in St. Cloud on Sunday. St. Cloud police responded to reports of multiple gunshots just after 2:30 a.m. in the 1000 block of 9th Avenue South. Upon arrival, officers found the victim with a gunshot wound to the torso. According to law enforcement, an argument among a group of people escalated into a physical altercation in the parking lot, leading to the shooting. The suspect, known to the victim, allegedly pulled out a gun and shot the victim. The victim was initially taken to a hospital in St. Cloud but was later transferred to a Twin Cities metro hospital, where he remains in critical but stable condition.
During the incident, a 31-year-old woman arrived at a hospital with a gunshot wound to her leg, sustained during the altercation. She was treated and released. Police recovered a gun from the scene.
