Winona police are searching for a woman who reportedly punched an employee at a Burger King on Mankato Avenue. The suspect, a former employee who was fired several months ago, returned to the restaurant on Monday afternoon and punched a current employee in the face behind the counter. The victim’s lip was cut, but no medical attention was needed. Police are investigating the incident, noting a possible history between the suspect and victim, as the suspect had previously thrown something at the same employee she allegedly assaulted on Monday.
