FARGO, N.D. – Kevin Douglas Wright of Fargo faces four counts of forgery in Cass County Court for allegedly cashing checks totaling over $9,800 that did not belong to him. The checks, cashed at five different Bell Bank locations in Fargo and Moorhead on March 29, were made out to Wright but were not issued to him. Police were alerted to the fraudulent activity after a report was filed by the victim, Anytime Mobile Truck Service. Bell Bank provided copies of the checks and photos of the person cashing them, which matched past booking photos of Wright. While charges have been filed in Cass County for the Fargo incidents, it is uncertain if charges will be brought in Clay County for the Moorhead transaction.
