ROSEAU COUNTY, Minn. – Jonathan Lee Johnson, 35, of Bemidji, Minnesota, faces charges in Roseau County Court for allegedly sexually abusing a young child. The charges, including two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, were filed after an 11-year-old girl disclosed the abuse to a mandated reporter. The abuse is said to have occurred between 2016 and 2019 in Roseau. Johnson appeared in court on April 9, where bail was set at $5,000 cash. If convicted, he could face up to 30 years in prison and/or a $40,000 fine.
