FERGUS FALLS, Minn. – On Friday afternoon, the Fergus Falls Police Department responded to a 911 call at the Subway off Pebble Lake Road. A 72-year-old woman from Battle Lake accidentally collided with the front entrance of the building. The driver reportedly hit the curb near the building and accidentally pressed the gas pedal instead of the brake. As a result, a 70-year-old woman from Dalton, who was standing near the doors, was knocked over by the collision. She was transported to Lake Region Healthcare for evaluation of minor injuries. No charges have been issued in the incident, and Subway remains open until repairs can be made.
