RUGBY, N.D. – A former corrections officer at the Rugby jail, Anthony Aadland, faces felony charges for allegedly sexually assaulting two female inmates. State prosecutors charged him with two C-felony charges of sexual abuse of a ward. According to a criminal affidavit, Aadland engaged in inappropriate relationships with the inmates, including encounters in areas without cameras such as the attorney’s room. The inmates also reported that he showed them inappropriate photos of himself on his cell phone.
