A collaborative effort between several North Dakota law enforcement agencies led to the seizure of hundreds of suspected Fentanyl pills from a residence in Mandan. On Thursday, March 28, officers from North Dakota Parole, Probation, and Pretrial Services, along with members of the U.S. Marshals High Plains Fugitive Task Force, Mandan Police Department, and Metro Area Narcotics Task Force, conducted a search related to a wanted individual.
During the search, officers discovered a man from Michigan and hundreds of suspected Fentanyl pills in a toilet. The pills were confiscated, and the man was taken into custody. Tom Erhardt, Director of Parole, Probation, and Pretrial Services, emphasized the importance of their team’s efforts in assisting supervised individuals while also ensuring community safety. He highlighted that in 2023, statewide enforcement operations led to the confiscation of over 16 pounds of illegal narcotics, 37 illegally possessed firearms, and other prohibited items.
