MOORHEAD, Minn. – A man is currently in custody, accused of stealing cash from the Starbucks located on Highway 10 in Moorhead. The incident occurred on Wednesday around 7 PM. According to police scanner traffic, the man entered Starbucks and uttered, “God forgive me,” before taking the money and fleeing westbound on Highway 10. Police quickly located the suspected vehicle in the 1200 block of 20th St. S. in Moorhead. When they attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver fled southbound, leading to a pursuit. Authorities used a Pursuit Intervention Technique (PIT) to immobilize the vehicle in the 2400 block of 20th St. S. The driver, identified as 52-year-old Abraham Cozzi, was then taken into custody. Cozzi is currently being held at the Clay County Jail on charges of Felony Fleeing in a Motor Vehicle and Theft
