
A high-speed pursuit in Otter Tail County ended in Perham early Wednesday morning, with the suspect still at large. The incident began when a deputy from the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office attempted to stop a vehicle that had stalled at a stop sign at the intersection of Highway 108 and Highway 78, east of Dent, around 1 a.m. After the vehicle turned northbound on Highway 78, the deputy’s radar indicated speeds exceeding 80 mph. Despite attempts to stop the vehicle, the driver fled at high speeds into Perham, where the pursuit was eventually terminated. Authorities are currently searching for the driver, and no further information is being released at this time.
