A head-on crash on Tuesday in Winona County resulted in the closure of a portion of I-90. According to the State Patrol report, a semi-truck collided with a Honda CRV around 1:15 p.m. The Winona County Sheriff’s Office indicated that the crash was likely weather-related. An officer at the scene reported that the two individuals in the CRV, both from Colorado, sustained “serious injuries.” Fortunately, the driver of the semi-truck was uninjured. The accident report revealed that the vehicles were traveling in opposite directions on I-90 before the collision occurred. However, a State Patrol spokesperson could not confirm which vehicle crossed over to the other side of the road. Additionally, there was no update provided on the condition of the two people in the CRV.
