BURNSVILLE, Minn. – A tense situation unfolded at Burnsville High School on Tuesday when school officials discovered a gun on campus, leading to the arrest of one student and the questioning of another. Authorities were alerted to the presence of the firearm around 10:40 a.m., prompting a swift response from law enforcement. School staff suspected that two students were in possession of guns, leading to concerns about potential threats within the school.

Upon arrival, Burnsville police were able to locate and seize the firearm, confirming that it was a real and loaded weapon. Despite thorough search efforts, a second gun was not found.
