ST. PAUL, Minn. -An 11-year-old boy is in critical condition at Gilette Children’s Hospital after being shot in the head on Friday night. St. Paul police arrested a 13-year-old girl, believed to be responsible, and a 34-year-old man for firearm-related charges. The incident occurred at apartments on Pierce Butler Route, where two handguns were recovered. Neighbor Angelka Amos described the scene as chaotic, with her sons waking her up to the news. Amos believes the shooting was accidental, possibly involving children playing with a gun. She expressed sympathy for both families involved.
