Scott Henrickson, 42, pleaded guilty to kidnapping and violating a no-contact order after allegedly assaulting his child’s mother and abducting their son while she was driving on Highway 10 in Sherburne County. The incident triggered an AMBER Alert, and Henrickson was later apprehended at a home in Baxter after a standoff with police. The child was safely returned to the mother. Henrickson initially faced charges of kidnapping, domestic abuse, and violating a domestic abuse no-contact order, but the latter charge was dropped. He is expected to receive a six-year prison sentence at his April 25th sentencing.
