Fergus Falls Police Respond to Erratic Driving Incident

The Fergus Falls Police Department received multiple calls on Friday about a black Silverado driving erratically and causing damage. The first call came in shortly after noon, reporting a crash near the Holiday gas station on Union, followed by the vehicle pulling into a liquor store parking lot.

Police located the vehicle and pursued it, leading to the arrest of 47-year-old Olaf Jacobson. Following the pursuit, another accident involving a stationary vehicle was reported on 2nd Avenue near Laurel Street. The suspect vehicle matched Jacobson’s truck. Jacobson is charged with felony Fleeing a Police Officer, gross misdemeanor 3rd Degree DWI, misdemeanor Driving with an Open Bottle, and a misdemeanor Collision with an Unattended Vehicle.
