A man was arrested following a pursuit that began in Wadena and involved several law enforcement agencies.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported that on Thursday, a trooper attempted to pull over a speeding vehicle on westbound Highway 10 in Wadena. The vehicle, driven by 38-year-old Paul Condon of Baxter, allegedly refused to stop and continued to flee westbound on Highway 10.

Authorities deployed tire-disabling devices near Perham, eventually causing the vehicle to come to a stop. Condon was then taken into custody.

He has been booked into the Wadena County Jail on charges including fleeing a peace officer, possession of a controlled substance, and DWI.

Assistance in the pursuit was provided by the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office, New York Mills Police Department, and Perham Police Department.
