MOORHEAD, Minn.- Two 16-year-old boys are facing felony robbery charges after allegedly robbing a victim they met on Facebook in Moorhead. The incident occurred on Tuesday just after noon in the 1500 block of Belsly Boulevard. The victim reported that instead of selling him a gaming system as planned, the boys took his money, pushed him, and fled the scene.

The following day, police posed as buyers online and arranged to meet the teens to purchase the gaming system. One of the teens was apprehended during the meeting, while the other turned himself in later. Moorhead Police advise the public to use caution when meeting strangers for transactions and suggest using safe locations like the Clay County Law Enforcement Center for exchanges. They also recommend avoiding transactions that feel suspicious and using secure payment methods.
