(Alexandria, MN) -Alexandria Technical and Community College is set to host open tryouts for its inaugural Legends Archery team, marking the first competitive collegiate program of its kind in Minnesota. The tryouts will take place on Saturday, April 27th, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Alexandria Shooting Park.
The tryouts are open to all individuals interested in attending Alexandria College and joining the archery team, regardless of age or skill level. Participants will have the opportunity to compete in various events, including 18-meter, 3D target, and long-range 50-meter target competitions, mirroring USA Archery events.
Those interested in trying out can visit the Alexandria Shooting Park at 6533 County Road 87 in Alexandria during the specified times on April 27, 2024. The team will begin competing in the fall of 2024.
