A Fargo resident was taken into custody following a search of his residence on Wednesday evening. Fargo Police Department officers conducted a search warrant in the 500 block of 31st Avenue North, where they discovered materials related to child sexual abuse.
Joel John Schumacher, 55, was arrested for possession of prohibited materials and has been placed in Cass County Jail. The North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation is aiding Fargo Police in the ongoing investigation.
