Stearns County Parks has two exciting events coming up. On April 8th, a Solar Eclipse Viewing Party will take place at Mississippi River County Park from noon to 4:00 p.m. Safety glasses will be provided for the partial eclipse, peaking just after 2:00 p.m. There will also be fun activities like bags, disc golf, and music. No registration is required. This eclipse will be the last in the country until 2044.
On May 18th, Quarry Park will host Kids to Parks Day from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. More details will be released soon.
