A high-speed chase in Buffalo County on Saturday led to the arrest of a man driving nearly 90 miles per hour. According to authorities, the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a vehicle driving erratically on State Highway 35 in the town of Buffalo. Deputies located the vehicle, driven by 30-year-old Brendan Maher, traveling at 88 mph in a 35 mph zone. When deputies attempted to stop Maher, he fled, leading them on a 12-mile chase. The Wisconsin State Patrol eventually deployed a tire deflation device to stop Maher, who was then arrested for fleeing from officers and driving under the influence.
