
A fire in a south Fargo apartment building has left residents displaced. Fire crews responded to smoke at 2551 Villa Drive South before 11 a.m. on Saturday. Flames were discovered in the ceiling space above a second-floor unit, spreading to the third floor and attic. Due to extensive damage, all 24 units were evacuated. The Red Cross and management are assisting residents with housing. Damage is estimated at $80,000, mostly affecting two apartments and hallways on the second and third floors.
