Moorhead Police have identified the tragic victim of a recent medical emergency as three-year-old Eastyn Deronjic, who passed away after being rushed to Sanford Hospital following a distress call from a south side apartment on Monday. Eastyn and a younger sibling had been residing at the Moorhead residence for an extended period, under the care of acquaintances of their biological parents.
The circumstances surrounding Eastyn’s death are under investigation, with an autopsy being conducted by the Ramsey County Medical Examiner. The death is currently being treated as suspicious. The younger sibling has been placed in protective custody while the investigation unfolds. As of now, no charges have been filed in this heartbreaking incident.
