Alicia Maria Nolan is now in Becker County Jail after admitting to starting a fire inside a Detroit Lakes home. The incident, which occurred around 5 a.m. on March 18, 2024, saw fire crews responding to a house fire where Nolan had been living for months.
According to the homeowner, Nolan entered the residence and began screaming. He heard her screams, went upstairs, and discovered black smoke and flames coming from her bedroom. The fire, which originated from a lit mattress in Nolan’s room, was quickly contained by the Chief.
