The replacement of the 40 year-old Dilworth fire station is making progress. U.S Senators Amy Klobuchar and Tina Smith have announced a $975,000 U.S Department of Agriculture Rural Development Grant. The current fire station is co-located with the community center. The project will help remodel the old fire hall to a new fire department and provide space for all emergency service providers and equipment. The grant follows funding Klobuchar and Smith secured in March 2022.
