FROM DETROIT LAKES CITY OFFICES: On Saturday, February 24th a couple of street closures for Polar Fest: West Lake Drive from Lake Ave to Minnesota Ave will be closed on Saturday, February 24 from 6am to 5:30pm for the Polar Plunge. Washington Ave/West Lake Dr, from the North Shore Dr round-a-bout to Lake Ave will be closed from 6pm to 8pm on Feb 24 for the Polar Fest Fireworks. The committee is requesting that spectators do not park on the ice. Please contact a Polar Fest Committee member for questions.
