
FARGO— The driver of a car headed the wrong-way on Interstate 29 was arrested after a short pursuit with law enforcement early Tuesday morning. Trevor Christensen, 30, of Dilworth, Minn. faces possible charges of DUI, Driving Under a Revoked License, Reckless Endangerment and Fleeing. Shortly after 11 p.m. on Monday, the North Dakota Highway Patrol received several calls about someone driving the wrong-way on I-29 near Grandin, North Dakota. The driver was headed southbound. Troopers located the suspected minivan and a pursuit began in Cass County once emergency lights and sirens failed to stop the driver, according to North Dakota Highway Patrol. The Cass County Sheriff’s Office was also involved in the pursuit. Troopers successfully carried out a PIT technique to stop the vehicle. The minivan ended up in a ditch and Christensen was arrested. No other injuries were reported.
